- last words -

ok so i was so darn busy and the aftermath of it left me mentally exhuasted to blog. and i shall do so before welcoming 2007

backtrack to last week...

band fest was good though it wasnt as great as i expected it to be.

mon - i was freaking pissed in the morning due to people who arent flexible and sensitive enough or even care to appreciate what i did.
cracked my reed right before the practice began.
met loads of new people.
i slept till morning the minute i lay down.

tue - got up much later than most people as i do not have to travel much. and coincidentally met all the bandmates on the bus.
it was cold due to a more than 12hour nonstop rain.
practice and practice.
night practice till 10pm

wed - more practice
mr atarashi was funny with his hand gesture and weird stories to communicate with us. big breadths. log/long cake. lol
mr joseph cheung was ever so energetic and all smiley. his joke of conducting straight away when he stepped in without us get ready was played each of the 3 days. (:

thur - bandfest at esplanade. got our passes and went into dressing rooms. we had so much time. went around taking photos and exploring and watch other bands having sound check. had ours where we had so much fun with all the standing up and people finally found out about andrew's copacabana solo.

had dinner as the house was open and people were taking their seats. we watched the concert on plasma screens and had our tuning during interval thus i could not go out to meet people.

finally saint saens band got onto backstage. and we heard charming asia from ravel. it sounds so cute with the gongfu and sakura etcetc. after much wispering under the blue light we got on stage. i heard you people shouting for me. ((: everything went well. and it ended on a high note with much audiences involment for copa.

all in all, i heard saint seans was the best!yay!! :DD thanks for the cherries and flowers. and i had to go back to school and couldnt go for supper with gang. bus home with sweet huitian.

fri - the following day we had practice for takashimaya's performances. aj came over and they love our new toilets. haha dinner was separated due to the large number of 30+ of us. found out 2 other guys - andr & dan, take bus from the same bus stop as me.
was preparing presents, wrapping them etc till 3am. gosh

sat - it felt nice being a santa, at least giving out presents. since i didnt do so much for this year's cny, v day, friendship day etc.
last run through and we hurriedly left as the bus was early.

dragging of percussion instrument through taka was kind of fun but sweaty. while some people, were selfish, talk and no action, carried only his instrument and not even his stand nor file. ok i'm only refering to 1 person here
like hello! wth

had soundcheck where people just stood around to listen. and out of the blue she asked me if i had got a thing for this person and i heard if i had got something to give to the person. it was so funny. we were laughing and didnt prepare to come in for the piece and was spotted. and i was right that this innocent girl had a bf.

met up with laycheng after god knows how long <3 you're dearly missed by me especially during band. and some people ^ahem decided to rot at home in front of the computer and the other erm doing homework? being pure lazy instead of coming down and soak in the christmas atmosphere and listen to good music.
while there were the other 2 who unexpectly came - sherm & jior, even though they left 5 mins after the performance started. oh and not forgetting the piggy family came as well. it was much appreciated. twin gave me hugs right before i went on stage.

it was supper at town after putting our instruments back at school. and i gave my twin her x'mas gift. my bag was so darn heavy as i had expected to pass those presents to gang but they didnt turn up.

the rest left for midnight show which i really wanted to join but did not as i need to get up early next morning. was waiting for bus with joac and he left 1st leaving me stranded there alone waiting for the freaking bus which didnt show up. recieved a call for chatting company as i waited and waited. it started to rain and i hopped onto another bus and i was freezing despite the long sleeved black shirt. and i got home at 3am.

sun - unproductive day. and it was screwed up by you. was smsing away while watching holiday movie at night on tv. love actually as my 2nd time and the family man which was rather nice too

mon - family movie and dinner and shopping. as usual. this time it was charlotte's web and some carnivour dinner at this germany meat restaurant, both at vivo

wed - was back to band. cleaning of instrument was zz

thur to fri - had sleepover. it was simple with fun and love. i had blue eyes =D supper at makansutra and walking along town and finally cab back. random talks with edited version of truth and truth only. slept only after seeing the slightest sunrise. home cooked food is ever so nice, except those at twin's. lol. horror movie 'doll master' before leaving.

sat - back to band. i had red eye. i said something very stupid reluctantly. it ended on a sour note by sir. simple words like "are u ok?" couldnt come out of my mouth when you turned red, and eventually someone else asked that to you. andre was fascinated with spectacles. dinner at the usual.

and here i am. my last words before the new year.

ps. i'm sorry i was so busy that i didnt managed to send x'mas cards this year and i cannot seem to find my address book. and i'm too zz to refer to the address at the back of the envelopes of those cards which i recieved and still keep them.

nevertheless hope everyone of you out there had a wonderful x'mas and a very happy new year to all!!
